    G'day Folks,
I have a few quartz watches but don't have a mechanical watch. Have been looking around for a while now and have settled on the Aqua Terra Good Planet. Saw one this week at the Omega boutique. Very nice. It looks very different to my other watches and felt comfortable on the hand Interested this specific model: https://www.omegawatches.com/watche...50m/master-co-axial-gmt-43-mm/23192432204001/

    231.92.43.22.04.001

Am thinking of getting the fabric strap and also purchasing the metal titanium band.
Does anyone have ever one of these? Keen for some perspectives on the movement and watch.

Apologies for posting in the wrong section. If a mod can move, I would appreciate it. :whipped:

I went to an OB specifically to try this watch on. I LOVED it, but sadly the 43mm size was a bit big for my dainty wrists :(, BUT tried on a FOIS and fell in love :) so balance restored.

Very cool watch though and the white dial on blue nylon is super sharp. An ultimate summer watch!

I have narrowed my selection to the Titanium Bracelet to start. My AD advised a 6-8 week order from Switzerland. Am thinking of getting a Alligator / crocodile strap in Blue to swop between them. Will just need to figure out the clasp I would need to order and someone who can stitch the band up...

I have one – it wasn't an inexpensive pickup, but I'd argue it's one of the nicest watches in Omega's modern catalog, and an extremely capable competitor to the Rolex Explorer II. The dial is extremely sharp. And as others have noted, it does wear a touch large – my wrist is a few hairs too small for the stock nylon strap, but I've found it works on an ISOfrane, along with a wide variety of other aftermarket straps.

Could we get a wrist shot? If I can figure out a way to make this work for me, I'm be all over it (although part of the package for me is that blue nylon strap, but what you've got in the picture there certainly looks sharp too).

Pulled the trigger on the Titanium Bracelet and the Navy Alligator strap too.
Will take 6-8 weeks to arrive...

I quite like mine, the titanium makes almost weightless and the white dial with blue accents really pops on the sun! IMG_0907.JPG

On a 6.75" wrist, first on a Bas & Lokes suede leather strap, then on a 20mm NATO.

...and have I mentioned that the dial is real nice?

On a good day, I'm about 6.5", although the top of my wrist is pretty flat. Seeing your pictures, I think I might be able to pull it off, especially on a NATO, although how tall does the watch sit on a NATO? Probably no way I'm ever going to get an AD/OB to let me try the watch on a different strap.

While I was at the OB I also tried on the 38mm Good Planet which felt a smidge small (likely due to the 18mm straps) and then lastly, the Ryder Cup which I totally dug, but seeing as I'm not a golf enthusiast, my be a waste on me. I just love that blue on white dial I guess! Having a GMT in the collection would be nice too.

Funny, you and I have really similar wrist sizes, and a really similar try-on experience between both models. I found the 38mm to be really small, despite my small wrist, and preferred the size of the Ryder Cup but hate golf, and wanted a GMT. Ultimately, I wanted an Omega that could go toe-to-toe with the Explorer II, and a GMT, and this AT delivers in spades. On paper, it's actually smaller (L2L, width and thickness) than most of my divers, but the broad dial aperture makes it 'feel' much larger, which is confusing. I'll slap it on a NATO and get a height shot for you, but I don't recall it being too bad (tried on both 22mm rubber NATO, and 20mm nylon).

Here it is on a 20mm NATO – wears very comfortably, no noticeable height issues. A 22mm strap wears with considerable more 'bulk,' so I'd actually prefer it this way.

I do like that Bas & Lokes suede strap. Beautiful!. Had a look at their website. some nice natural leather bands too... Have fired off an email to them on whether they can do a leather band with the Omega Deployant.

Don't have my calipers in front of me today, but I think it's 51 or 52mm. Could really benefit from more downward turned lugs, but I've got a pretty flat wrist so it works pretty well still.
