Have a slow work day( you know just can't be bothered), end of the week I guess so just googling around.

Came across this watch 2846 and just curious and fascinated is this really how a dial can fully patinate.

There are many different types of patina, but yes, this qualifies as a fully patinated dial.

tons of ways a dial can age and patinate. Not all of 'm do so as gracefully as this example though, I dig this one!

That one is nice compared to this one, which looks like a petri dish of smallpox.

I’m in the patina equals damage camp but this one actually looks pretty cool I’ll give it that.

Think its a very subjective, actually never knew dials could go that way until recently.

Think it's add character, individualism, symbolises a period if aged correctly.

I can see now why there is a desire for original untouched dials.

Definitely some interesting examples out there. Think the patinated dials are growing on me as long as it's a consistent on the dial.

Is the vintage vibe to have a clear dial, or little patination or is it each to their own I guess.
