路Hello everyone. I just want to get an opinion on the authenticity of this 2531.80 that I鈥檓 eyeing as it is selling for a bit lower than the usual market price. From the case back the serial number appears to be 80354275. Hope I can get some feedback. Thank you!

Would it make sense if I buy the watch and just have it serviced and request a genuine bezel from an Omega Service Center?

For me, make sense. If the watch is recently serviced, use a watchmaker service just for change the bezel for a genuine part.

Never seen a speedmaster with 7 digit number starting with a letter, will attach Photos aswell and looking at the movement everything seems to check out. All good or what鈥檚 the experts opinion ?

The alphanumeric serial numbers were announced (on the Omega Extranet) in November of 2019. In that announcement, there was no mention of the numbers no longer being sequential.
They did indicate that both numeric and alphanumeric serial numbers would be in production at the same time.
