Hello guy, i bumped into this watch on ebay and its listed for $770. From what it says its a 24 jewels, 562 cal seamaster from 1964. I noticed that beside the crown has been replaced, and I also want to point out the swiss made underneath the 6 o clock it says "swiss made T". Before i purchase im curious to see if this watch is real or not, do you guys think this is a genuine watch?
Thanks in advance!

Yes it's genuine but overpriced, more like a $500 watch.

Mine says "hello." It was my first vintage Omega back in 2009 and I overpaid but still like it.

Thanks, in natural light, you barely see the freckles but they stand out with the flash on my phone.

The "Swiss T" indicates tritium-lumed hands. If the dial and hands both have tritium, the dial is marked "T Swiss T". Your reference usually had non-tritium hands but it is possible that the dial was marked incorrectly or that the hands were replaced at some point. X350 XJR knows much more about these details than I do, so I am interested in his perspective.

This is not correct, a single T simply means there is tritium on the watch, just like having two T's, it does not specifically signify that the watch has lumed hands. OPs watch has tritium on both the dial and hands, the hour figures are filled with lume. You can also have a tritium lumed watch with no T's.

I also see what may be wear to the lower right lug (could be a reflection).

Rolex even printed some DateJust dials with T SWISS T and left off the lume. Those cheap bastards couldn't even be bothered to print a different batch of dials. 😉

Thanks, I just thought it was the angle and the light but I see that the dial markers are not onyx filled.

Nice watch. I think I have overpaid on a couple. One I know and even went against the OFs recommendations, however it happens to be my favorite watch. On my wrist everything about it says “perfect” to me. The only time I've felt burned was on a two which I’d spent less than $100. Sellers admitted not as described. Live and learn. Provided negative reviews.

I mean as long as you love it and think its a worth it purchase thats all it matters haha.Ive never own any vintage watches yet so this will be my first. All the ones i look at in the 500 range are all in rough shapes, so i guess by overpaying for a clean looking one isnt too bad i guess lol
