At 6.5k with bracelet and ends links. Sounds like a steal. Great catch.

@Banner Roar
I鈥檓 pretty certain your watch was up for auction in the UK very recently.
It was on the-saleroom.com and the photos are from the auction sale. Not sure about the last 2 pics you showed.
I didn鈥檛 save it so can鈥檛 tell you the date it sold.
Hopefully someone has simply purchased it and is flipping it to you.

The auction was on Sunday, I was watching it. It went unsold, didn't reach the reserve.

Got the package in the post. Will take a few pictures before sending to Simon F.

The bracelet is as correct a 1506 date of 3rd qtr of 1964 and #16 endlinks. There are 4 expandable links on both sides with 8 standard links also both sides. Condition is very good, maybe refurbished at omega service in 2015.

Have been back onto the vendor to find some more info. The story is that apparently, the watch was owned by a collector who has passed away and his family are selling off his collection. Offered to pay for any documentation about the watch, service, original documentation or box. Fingers crossed.......

The original parts are a bit disappointing. Crown is as expected. Hour hand is perfect with matching color to the bezel and dial but the minute is missing all lume and the sec is in two parts. I dont think they were stored carefully. I wonder if Simon could restore the minute and sec hands and match the lume to the original hour hand.........any advice welcome

Looks like you did well on this purchase. The missing lume on the minute hand is not as bad as the bent minute hand itself from what I see. I believe Simon could refill the minute hand but I'm not sure the broken-into-two-part second hand can be fixed.

Bezel is in very good condition with only blemish at 6. Very warm tan color that is matched with the dial.

Clear difference between the bezel and dial against the new hands. WatchCo clearly on the right for comparison.

The caseback reference, movement number and bezel all match with the bracelet for a early version. Have ordered a extract to confirm date.

Now off the Simon for some work. Thanks for all the comments....馃憤

Here's one that someone literally snatched out from under me earlier this month. Was it anyone here?

A 165024-63 or 64?
First bezel rendition.
Very nice indeed

Edit: probably a 64 per the movement number
