Is This Still Chrono Creep or Something Else

Sorry to bring this up again. Yes, I’ve read all the previous posts about chrono creep and Speedmasters. I picked up my watch on Saturday and I was told… it’s the best they could do. The hour counter no longer creeps all the way around the counter, but, rather moves about 2 degrees clockwise and then stops. Definitely an improvement and maybe even tolerable… I’m OCD, nothing new.

Questions, is this indicative of something other than Chrono Creep? Can it be repaired? Is it worth repairing, or wait till the watch needs servicing? Bad case of OCD, right?

If it creeps a little and then stops, this is usually an indication of worn teeth on the hour recording wheel.

Thanks Archer. I’m assuming it’s ok to wait till the next service before replacing the hour recording wheel.

I checked the parts they returned and one was the hour recording wheel, part # 72203211788. Maybe an adjustment?
