Is this Speedmaster 321 too far gone?

$5000 USD
Personally, I don't think I would consider it at that price, because of the condition of the original parts, rough dial/bezel and missing hands, etc. If those parts are re-installed, it will still be in rough condition. However, if you are happy with the watch in its current form, with service parts, and want to wear it that way, it might be worth $5k to you as a serviced, wearable watch. But it's not a no-brainer bargain at that price, IMO.

At this moment in time there are quite a lot of nice enough Speedmaster's to be found at this price point.....this isn't one of them...it would be a big pass for me even at 80% of the asking even though it is an early ref., just due to the condition of the old dial, which is the heart and character of a vintage watch.

Honestly, at ~4k I'd have a hard time not pulling the trigger. A nice, serviced wearable, 321 for $4k is about reasonable. Mid-3s and I'd probably be reverse-image-searching it 馃榿

Nice watch that is Ed White vintage.
Thanks, not sure it's an Ed White. It should be a 105.022-62A (1962 Transitional model) Ed White was 1965, but not sure what year his watch was made.

That is a beautiful watch and in a completely different league to the OP watch
Thank you. But aren't they all great? Some just never got the love...
