Is this seamaster a redial?

Found this 14390 seamaster with beautiful creamy dial. I noticed the both 'a's in seamaster are not fully enclosed. Is this a redial? Thank you for your help.

The dial and hands have lume, but there are no T's to indicate tritium, but I am guessing this is around the transition time before they used "T" to indicate Tritium after they stopped using Radium.. I'm no 14390 expert (or novice) though. If it is a redial, it's a pretty well done one as the text is quite crisp. The case is the real issue, it's been polished way too much - all the edges that should be sharp are soft.

Dial looks fine to me. The figures on this dial are part of the dial not applied as on many from this period. They are far to crisp for the dial to have been refinished. The refinishing process typically takes this sharpness away.

The case isn't so bad either, facets on the lugs still quite present although not perfectly sharp.

I'd want a much sharper case for that money.

The dial is nice, but that's definitely not a bargain.

That's my 1961 seamaster nice case back, nice lugs ,nice case.nice dial .I like it

The lume has aged very well. That’s a big plus to me. But as others have said, not exactly a bargain

Compared to your other recent purchases, this one is rather ... uninspiring. You've started in the real deep end. Don't settle for less
