·OP - frankly the intrinsic value of the gold in your example probably matches or even exceeds the collector value of the watch so I’d value it a gold price plus perhaps 10-20%
Thank you for your response. Is this regarding the first or second watch? I'm interested in the 33mm 18k Omega Caliber 552 watch - including box and papers (the second one I mentioned). Would you say the asking price of 1500 euros is reasonable for this timepiece?
