She looks genuine and fine to me. Polished obviously but not many old gold watches from that era weren't. Nice clean specimen and I like it.

Correct but nothing special about it. Save money for a pie pan with original crown.

How much would a 18k pie pan usually range from? Another question, why isnt this piece special aren’t constellation sought after?

Sweet thanks!! Even the crown is original? This always throws me off, seeing as I’m new to identifying

This is not a pie pan and the crown is not correct.

The case is very worn/polished.

Constellations are certainly desirable and sought after. But this particular piece is extremely polished as @X350 XJR said. Take it from me (I was a newbie a year ago) you can definitely find one in better shape, and even maybe a better price 👍

As others have said before me, the case is a little worn and one of the easiest ways to tell is by looking at the caseback and the observatory. One of the photos shows wear of the plating on the crown, which wouldn't happen with the original gold crown. Fortunately, the movement and dial look pretty clean so that is a major plus. For me, a purchase like this ultimately depends on the economics. If its a bargain and you think it looks good, then you should go ahead and buy it and enjoy it. You can eventually source an original crown and replace it, but again the price is key is here. The photos look like they came from an online store and not an independent seller, which isn't a bad thing but I assume you're probably paying a premium. If you wait, odds are a better example can come up. Others have mentioned buying a pie pan constellation. Those are considered the creme de la creme of vintage constellations and their values keep climbing. The popularity of the design has seen a resurgence and the Omega's Globemaster (in their current line of models) brings back this "Pie Pan" design. The con is that they usually command a premium over other constellations and they are often faked or have repainted dials. I made the mistake of buying one of these fakes a few months back and members of the forum gave me some guidance, so I recommend consulting others when purchasing a Pie Pan.

A man (or lady) after my own heart. It's a matter of numbers and I'll buy anything if the price is right. 😁

whilst I can't necessarily agree with Hoi about saving up for a pie-pan, I can agree with fellow members about the fact that the case is polished, especially the case back.
to give you a reference point of what it should look like, here is my deluxe, date-less version of this case style.
