Is this Omega a frankenstein?

Hi everyone, I received this Omega watch from my uncle and I want to learn more about vintage watches. I did show this to some people and they told me that it is a Frankenstein so I hope that you guys could have a look and give me some feedback. I appreciate any help.

It looks OK to me, except for the crown is incorrect which is easy to fix. I can't tell much from the out-of-focus movement shot. Why did the person think it was a frankenwatch? If you like the watch and plan to wear it, I would have it serviced. The crown can be remedied at that time.

Hi there, they identified it as Omega Bumper 1954 based on the dial so they told me that the movement should be 354 Cal and the movement that I have is 500 cal.

There is too much variability in dials from that era to identify the watch based on the dial. The reference number in the caseback 2846 identifies the model, and it has the correct movement according to the link I posted from Omega. The Seamaster font is a less common variant, but I believe it is correct.

I did get it service last week and the watchman told me that he will find the crown for me for the next 2-3 weeks

Thank you for your help. Here are better photos of the movement and the cap back. I do have another question is it normal sometimes the movement does not have a caliber number like mine?

Thank you, sir, I have learned a lot from your help. So I wonder if I could confirm that this watch is a legit one right? except for the crown I am waiting for a replacement.

It's legit.
