Hello dear Omegaforums community. I would like to ask you something.

The part which is upside of the crown is not plated and when i look at the crown, it always draws my attention. It looks a bit weird to me since its an Omega watch. I am wondering if is it genuine or not, if is it normal on some vintage Omega watches. Mechanism is genuine cal 625.

It was originally plated. The plating has simply worn off over the years as the watch has been wound.
