·I discovered this with ice cream a few weeks ago. I felt the container looked and felt a little small for a “pint”. Turns out I wasn’t wrong.
Being me, I had to research it and apparently they lopped 2oz off the size in 2011 to not raise their prices…which they did anyway. What’s strange is that I just noticed it.

·My old boss Jack and I went to a Chili’s while on travel (it was right across from the hotel- no judgement). He ordered the half rack of ribs and when it came it had 4 ribs on the plate. He called the server over and asked where the rest of it was. The server, confused didn’t know what he meant.
My boss explained that a “rack” is supposed to be 5-6 ribs, not 4. The manager came over and asked what the problem was. Jack again explained that the count was short as a 1/2 rack is a measurement like a dozen. The manager said “oh, that’s OUR 1/2 rack of ribs”.

·Spring bars do shrink! Like all metals they contract as the temperature drops. If it’s cold enough, they shrink to the point where they can pop right out! I’ve lost at least 7 watches like this. Even on a NATO strap, if they both pop out at the same time you’re screwed! It’s a major problem that I can’t believe the Swiss watch industry hasn’t addressed yet! Thoughts and prayers for my wayward watches.

·I'm throwing the B.S. card on that one. If they shrunk that much just because of cold temps. they were way too short to begin with and you should have learned your lesson with the first loss.
