Is this hair in my speedmaster a concern?

Don't take it to school........If they find out all the other kids will want one!

Actually the hair reminds me of the old joke
A drunk walks into a barber shop, and asks: "Do you cut ladies hair?"
The barber replies: "Yes, no problem"
The drunk opens his mouth and pointing to a very small gap between some teeth, says: "Good! you can get this annoying little bastard that's stuck in here!"

I have a feeling Dyson have a specific tool for removing wee things from other wee things... Or have I just dreamt it..

Does your watchmaker have a moustache?

Watchmakers are meant to be clean shaven, shaved heads and eyebrows.. It's mandatory.. Rule #1 for watchmakers.

Think yourself lucky the hair is not in your soup!

But the hair in the Speedmaster, brings forth the question........ Can you wear a Speedmaster whilst cutting hair?

Facial Hair is fine . ( Astronaut's Hair ?)

If it comes from the pubic area , I would follow that up ....

I would have it removed. But be prepared to wait a few months for even warranty service.

Better there than in your soup.
True. Better a hair than a fly, also, although probably not as useful from a Dad Joke standpoint.

Something as simple as this should take 5-10 working days, including testings afterwards (transports aside).
Like my recent experience with Nomos.

I ended up sending it directly to Omega/Swatch (rather than through an AD or OB), and it took around 6 weeks. Definitely sucked being without it, but I’m very glad it’s sorted out now.

It's very unfortunate this took 6 weeks. It's a 5 minute job. My Rolex AD watchmaker did this for me for my Submariner while I waited and charged me nothing. But that watch was not under warranty so I understand why you had to have Omega do it in this case.

Yeah, I definitely wanted to keep the warranty. But it was definitely unfortunate that this happened in the first place (not sure how it got past QC), and that it ended up taking so long. Not very impressed.
