Is this bracelet authentic and what watch does it belong with?

Hello Experts,
I received this bracelet with the recent purchase of a Speedmaster Mk 40 on Chrono24. It has the inscription of 1551/861 (though the 1 could be taken for a 4). It appears as though the end links are 18mm which matches the Mk40. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

What exactly is your concern? The bracelet looks legit and as I recall the mk40 had a sliding clasp bracelet like that. Many of the circa year 2000 cross over tool-dress watches did. eg the SMP GMT or the Seamaster 120m. I’m not a big fan of that design, it’s fiddly and delicate but it does work. They were still using that clasp it in 2010 on Aqua Terras etc. Eventually they saw sense and beefed it up.

I read on another forum that the Speedmaster Mk40 utilized a bracelet 1562/850 or something close to that. This bracelet is much heavier than the 1562 I currently have, and a brief check of the internet indicates that the 1551 belongs on a constellation, but the constellation bracelet looks much different to me. Any help is appreciated.

Clasp slider may have been switched. 1551/861 but you have 850 endlinks. Frankenbracelet.
