Hi, I am new to the forum and own a few vintage seamasters and other brand watches. I saw this constellation for sale on the bay, but then I also found a site with a replica of this same model. The serial on the movement indicates production in 1976, but I am used to seeing more writing on the movements than this one, which has only an Omega symbol on the weight, the Cal and the serial. BUT, looking at this thread, it looks right to me: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-seamaster-cal1022.40008/

Can anyone tell from the photos whether this one real or copy? Thank you in advance for any feedback.

The case back is off due to the star arrangement. They shouldn't be all the same size.

First, I don't think you should be posting the link to the replica site. Giving them free publicity is not something endorsed by this forum.

Second, many of those sites use pictures from authentic watches in their listings for the counterfeit versions, but the watch you get isn't completely accurate about the details (fonts, logo, medallion, etc.).

I don't follow later Connies but the medallions had stars of the same size that look like this from at least the early 70s

Many of the connies I see from the 70's appear to have the same sized stars, but the later ones all have different sizes. For this reference I do not know what is the norm.
