Not a fake, i've seen plenty of these, and the full stainless steel version. You can simply google around the ref number, and you'll see plenty of examples that look identical. https://www.chrono24.ca/longines/ref-l47743217.htm

This is not one of those popular models that are worth faking, so finding a fake one ain't gonna happen. Not because fake watches exist, that everything is being replicated. These Chinese companies strategically choose what to replicate, and its not with some niche model that they will ever bother. The only thing that can happen is a franken watch, which this isn't the case. When it comes to Longines, you can take pictures of the watch, send it to them, and they will confirm if everything looks correct, or wrong, so that's the great thing with this brand.

Have seen a replica for 279 dollars.

The seller took back the watch after I opened a case on ebay and I got may money back.
Interesting fact is that this is the second time he have to take back the watch! (I found the first auction)

Glass on the back had scratches, definite not sapphire.
Bracelet felt very light and cheap (my 200 Euro Orients have a better one)
The gold PVD had a yellow color tint.
For me the whole watch just felt wrong

Missing reference on the case

Logo only printed

Case back is usually not saphire as far as i am aware. And did you happen to take any clear pictures of the back of the case while you've had it?

Ok

Seems that I botched a quite good deal out of fear. 😀

Have apologized to the seller.

Edit: The last were done by me.
