·as a former owner of a 2914-1. . i agree w/ the comments here. while there can be differences of opinion as to "patina" vs. "damage" this to me is a clearly damaged dial that is not attractive to the eye. the case is highly polished. . .i think even if you got this for a song it would be very very difficult to ever re-sell this watch

·Railmasters are awesome, but don’t look past issues for one. Dealers all seem to think their Railmasters are the second coming of Jesus given their pricing... you should be patient and expect to pay good money, though you could always consider the Trilogy piece in the meantime

Maybe the dial was relumed? It seems too white for 60 years radium..
