Hello I am new to this profession and would appreciate your advice very much. A seller offered me this watch and sent me the photos below:
An Omega Vintage Teddington Red Star watch.
It is said to have the 265 caliber and date from 1948-1950 - Unfortunately, there are no certificates, invoices or any other information.
I would be interested in your valued opinion - I noticed that it is in very good shape for this age and that it has blue hour hands which irritated me a bit.
    Is it an original Omega?
    Thanks for your feedback

Guess original but I think the dial is refinished.

You should ask for the reference number from inside the case back and to check similar models and google after that number to see if the hands match . The machine is Omega and always check if the case is also Omega and if they match.

Due to high humidity levels in Brazil very few original "red star" dials have survived, the vast majority of these dials are refinished, including this one. I'd skip this one.
