Is this 2828 Seamaster a re-dial?

It’s very difficult to tell with this one - the spacing looks a little wide but perhaps still original? Please let me know your thoughts.

O is round and the Automatic A has flat top

watch is rather small with 32 mm...

Unless you’ve been studying a particular Omega model for years follow the golden rules below and you won’t go far wrong:

* If it’s a black dial Omega dress watch# from pre 1980 it’s a redial

* If it’s a Speedmaster pre 1980 it’s a Franken

* If it’s a SM300 it’s a fake (or Watchco - same thing really 😉 )

Do this and you’ll be fine.

# by which I mean any model that’s isn’t a Speedy or SM300
