·I was watching an Ebay auction tick down last night on an SM300 that--to my eye--looked correct overall. But I started to wonder about the dial, which has slightly "pinched" closed loop on the 6 and 9. I did a bunch of googling and forum perusing and found this type of 6 and 9 on just one or two examples of the many, many images out there of this reference. By far the vast majority had 6's and 9's with much more "open" loops on the 6 and 9. So is this a less common variant? Or some kind of service dial? Or...?
