    There are a few watch-specific abbreviations (e.g. DON), but most are generic internet forum lingo (OP, etc.), and Google is helpful for the latter.

    NM would be "near mint"

    Often meaning the watch is well used, but polished back (and beyond) its original condition :)

    Also people will use it when sold... So I don't think any of those work

    And for clarity, NOS means that I am lying but would still appreciate selling my watch for a lot of profit.
