Ok, so absolutely love my new PO which I purchased on the blue alligator strap and it looks fantastic. However, I am having an urge to purchase the steel bracelet. Could any of you please post any and all opinions on this, especially those of you that wear. PO mainly on the bracelet. There are always postings on here about how comfortable the PO bracelet is.

Looking good there!

For my 43.5, I wear it exclusively on bracelet. The OB gave me the OEM alligator strap (leather exterior, rubber interior), but I've only worn it on the strap once and immediately swapped back to the bracelet the very next day.

Aesthetically, they both look good in my opinion. While it could be entirely psychological, I "feel" the watch is more durable and lower-maintenance on bracelet. Giving one a sense of freedom that I can just spontaneously go cliff diving or jump into a pool and without worrying about the watch... whereas on leather, I'd be have to think twice about whether I want to immerse the watch under water.

Comfort-wise, my skin doesn't have any negative reactions to the steel. While the rubber ribs on the OEM leather band occasionally leaves imprints.

I no longer have mine (was ~10 year old 39mm if memory serves), but I loved the bracelet. But I mean that both in how it wore, which was excellent, and also how it looked and felt to the touch on the outside, with all those rounded surfaces. I don't regret trading the watch, but I definitely miss the bracelet.

I don't know what they charge just for the bracelet, but find an OB or an AD and try one on in real life to be sure.

I love the bracelet on my 3313 Planet Ocean. My favorite bracelet by far, it's even better once you mod it with the micro adjust.

So the bracelet for the 8900 PO is comfy. It has 6 micro adjustments plus a divers extension. I weighed mine once, with 2 links removed it was 90g for the bracelet and the 8900 PO weighs around 117g by itself in steel.

Add the 2 and you get a watch well over the 200g (207g for mine) range on your wrist, which is not a problem for me but you do feel the extra heft.

It's definitely one of the most comfortable bracelets I've ever worn. Better than any of the 4 Rolexes I have owned, including both oyster and jubilee bands.

It’s my preferred look on the PO but it is heavy. You have inspired me to switch it back to the bracelet for today though!

I find that the PO bracelet is extremely comfortable and it's heavy enough to balance the watch. I hope your wait isn't too long!

Can't wait and to make it worse, they had a bracelet on the white face PO but I couldn't talk them into letting me have that one and they could have the on order one. No harm in trying?

The new ones have the 6 point micro adjust clasp.

Yes, my PO has the micro adjust, and I love it. I modded my Speedy bracelet with the micro adjust clasp, it's a much better speedy bracelet that way; but I often have a strap on the Speedy anyway. I'm spoiled now, and think every folding clasp should have an easily deployed micro adjustment.

They really should. Especially on any watch over $1,000.
