Hello everyone,
I am about to buy an Omega vintage watch that I find marvelous. Buy I am not sure if it is a true Omega dial, I couldn't find anything similar on Internet.
Can you tell me what do you thing about this ?

The serial is 5418998 (1915 ?). It seems to be a caliber 19 but the size is only 34mm, is it possible ?

Thanks for your help and advice.
Cheers

Looks like a variation on the MTM logo that we've seen previously.

To be a bit more serious, I have seen this movement before, but I'm still not sure of the caliber. Looks a bit like a 23.7 and a bit like a 26.5, but not really. However, I have generally seen it in watches with wire-lugs and porcelain/enamel dials, so I suspect that in this case it may have been used to create a different watch.

Thank you all for your advice, I won't buy it, then.
The seller asks 200€ (215$) for this, it seems a little expensive for a redial.

In Spain, repainting the dial with a quality finish would cost you 120 euros.

It is not only the dial. That case is in bad shape (look around the lugs). It may be just dirt, but it may not be stainless steel, and if you try to clean it you may have to do a nickel electroplating too.

You're right fjf, this is not dirt, the case is very damaged and would need replating.

I actually find it weird, because I have been seeing redials here in Spain from relojerías although it looked like it was badly done, yet the price is around 1,300 upwards on a badly redialed vintages.
