Is Casio as good as a Rolex?

No doubt Casio is a better watch as a "watch".
Nowadays, people wear Rolex to show their wealth and success. Some might think it's the best watch in terms of investment or simply because they try to find their excuses why they need to buy it.
You couldnt compare durability and comfort (Casio is lighter!). People wear Casio they don't care about "wealth" and to be "in-line" - interestingly with whom? You are above that. Casio is a watch that serves purpose. You could be judged by your Rolex (loads of money for nothing, your phone does it better), but you will never be judged if you wear Casio.
What a load of malarkey!

Last time I was in London Rolex seller told me he is a big fan of Casio watches, because he scares to wear Rolex.
What is the purpose of the watch if you couldn't wear anywhere you want?

I’m 100% certain Casio is a better watch than Rolex when it comes to accuracy, which should be pretty important. Regardless, I much prefer my Sea-Dweller over my Casio G-Shock “whichever-model-it-is” for all other reasons.

I don't blame you, I really like the Sea-Dweller. And it's definitely not about telling time first always.

I think the bigger point of interest is exactly how AI makes the decision as to whether or not something is better. I played with the wording a bit, then as long as the phrase "is better" is part of the question, you get the answer that Rolex is better. However, if you simply ask it "Casio versus Rolex" the answers are a bit different.

Understood this was more of an exercise of AI’s veracity versus reality. AI has a long way to go before I hang my hat on it!

To me, it's more like we can make up a story for any watch. In many ways, a Casio is better than a Rolex or an Omega. In many ways that matter to us, Casio isn't close.

I was intrigued by how AI had compared the two. I didn't think it did a bad job. Just meant to be a little fun. Certainly both Casio and Rolex are great in their own way, each contributing to watch history in their own way. The AI exercise helped me understand why I can't make up my mind sometimes on a watch. They're all so different but each one can be great in it's own way. All except an Apple "watch."

I asked AI what watch would you pick up for yourself and not surprisingly at all 🤣 answer was Rolex Submariner.
It's all about profits. Nothing more, nothing less.

So AI isn't that smart then?

AI is exponential on steroids, so with that thought well all be extinct by Tuesday next week, if not sooner!
