Any of you find that, despite having a myriad of different brands and models, there is one watch that you are perpetually attracted to, have multiple examples of, and continue to look at and contemplate buying even though there would be no good reason to have another?

Or two?

69 Speedy Straight Writing, although I don't have one and it's not yet at the top of my want list, one day...

I have focused my watch obsession to only the Speedmaster Pro, modern and vintage, pretty much any version is good with me😀
But I have erred and also have a flightmaster, a ”Cone” hummer and keep hoping to find a Ploprof sometime in the future.
One Seiko 5 and Mickey Mouse Swatch is also present in my collection.

It's common, I've found, amongst folks who hunt for parts watches on eBay and optimize by matching the best parts up to make compete watches. I know Seiko collectors who have 20+ similar or identical 6139 Pogues they've put together. They'll never sell any of them.

I keep stopping myself buying a second dynamic...
Yeah, lost that battle lol.

I keep finding myself drawn to WGP or stainless steel watches with unusual case shapes.

I have an issue with Seamaster DeVilles
Ref.165020, 166020, 135020, 136020
And I have bought and sometimes sold over 50 of in various conditions.

I can’t really explain it.::facepalm1::

Probably not any one watch, just the hobby in general. Is there a patch I can buy?
