20 dollars shipped. Solid ss display back and keeps great time. Why pay 200? Granted, Jaragar isn't the coolest name, but does anyone have a clue how these and many others are being made for RETAIL shipped for 20 to 100 usd, and some look much nicer than this for 100. I am guessing there are now robots that can assemble watches? The cost on the 20 dollar retail and shipped watch has to be maybe 5 bucks? Crazy. Who has the scoop on how these solid SS watches with mechanical movements are able to be made and sold at such prices? I should point out that many are made to appear as chronographs, but the buttons change date, etc. This is not a chrono.

Jaragar Baby! $11.38 to my door. All in all, runs alright on the timegrapher. About 5sec/day wearing.

Or how 'bout this little beauty..."lk coloring" brand automatic....$8.18 to my door. Solid +5 secs/day. But for how long? I dunno...looks nice though. FYI...at this price it is equal to 1,000 coaxial Speedmasters.😲

At present Amazon are selling a Seiko SNK805 for £72. Buy this and it should never go wrong 😀
I got mine for 65usd in some kind of crazy amazon flash sale. What a great deal on such a well made watch. You guys are making me look at some vintage invicta. As others said they do have a solid following, my buddy has 10 or so most of them bought on cruises he isn’t a watch guy but he knows the msrp is just a game, kind of like a Rolex msrp just in the opposite direction

I actually ran into Andre in the LA airport decades ago.....it's not often that I feel dwarfed standing next to someone....I flashed back to being an eight year old....the guy really occupied space....one of the things I noticed was the size of his wrist and the watch he was wearing, not the brand/model but, rather, that it was the size of a hubcap.

"Then there was the time fellow WWF wrestlers Mike Graham and Dusty Rhodes watched in awe as Andre drank 156 beers in one sitting."

It is thought to be a modified Goliath pocket watch. He wore it all the time. And an appropriate name.

Oh so much hate lol

I bought 2 of them a couple of weeks ago and I admit I like them.
One second hand Professional Diver for a song and the other brand new Sea Base for not much more than a song.

I dont like way some watch brands other than Invicta ( no names given you all know them) market their product and the hype they use, to me Invicta is so unbelievably over the top you can only laugh, Trump would be proud!

Its almost as if they are thumbing their nose at the status quo of watch marketing, of course they maybe serious about the marketing and believe their own BS in which case thats a bit sad.

I would have gone on the cruise but trailer park has had a rash of burglaries and I didn't want my priceless Invicta's stolen.🫨
Ordinarily I would delete this post for picturing replicas, but really 🙄

I take your point, and my intention is not to kick a hornet's nest, but I have often wondered given the highly derivative nature of watch design historically, where does one draw "the line"? Is there a consistent criteria that if applied equally wouldn't result in some double digit percentage of watches regularly posted, including those by "respected" manufacturers, being censored?

No, no, my point was to joke that Invicta was not really up to the level of a replica attempt, so it was not necessary to delete an Invicta post 😜

I'll play your silly game.....and this ain't plastic...it's high grade polymer!

It's the same marketing technique that Omega uses for their "high tech" Delrin® (plastic) brake on the Speedmaster...but people won't apply the same level of sneer there because they love Omega. 😀

Swiss made, twenty-six jewel Sellita SW200, sapphire crystals front and back, 300m depth rating, push button micro adjustment clasp, great timekeeper, fits nicely on my eight inch plus wrist, $220 introduction price— bring the heat brothers and sisters!
Would buy one if I could find one, truth be told I am becoming a fan of this budget brand.
