I always wanted a Constellation Pie Pan ever since I saw one but never got close to owning one till now. I felt like it is such a vast ocean to dive in, to study how to spot a redial, polished case, etc. and I was discouraged. But I finally got my first, the inverted dialed 168.0065 and still can't believe I found it in such excellent condition. From here on, I only see a rabbit hole of vintages that I'm going in I know I asked before, but I hope for more reassurance. This is not a redial right?
Looks like a nice example you have there, there’s an article on them here if you’re interested showing the different variants: https://stories.omegaforums.net/japanese-constellation-168-0065-piepan/
I don’t believe this model came from Omega with a bracelet. In my mind this is a good thing. It means that you can add any kind of Omega bracelet you want without worrying if it was “factory correct”, because it isn’t. gatorcpa
Currently also hunting one of these !! @nqtri : are you happy with the running performances of the 1011 ?? I have carefully read Desmond's essay on this calibre, and I am a bit worried about the fragility of this "high speed" movement... let me knwo as soon as you can, cause the offer is heating up !
Not the expert here, but definitely a pie pan enthusiast, that would appear to have been well worth the wait. My wrists are large, so I am not able to usually find straps that will even reach the buckle. If I did, that suede example is certainly attractive!
