I'm not sure if any other forum members have any involvement with the current moon lander programs (reach out if you do!) but after the disappointing first attempt last month I'm super excited to see that today's SpaceX-IM1 launch has gone well and the Intuitive Machines moon lander is on her way to the moon! https://www.youtube.com/live/CvdgoX-3WOM?si=PguK_GSpQdShncBC Fingers crossed it makes it all the way to the lunar surface and my lasers (part of the NDL landing system) do their job!! (FYI, NDL = Navigational Doppler Lidar)
Flat Earthers are not likely to believe that whole “an asteroid killed the dinosaurs” theory, either.
Looking forward to a successful landing! Fingers crossed. Also excited to see those third person pictures from Eagle Cam.
Yeah, I'm wondering if they wanted to do another trip around the moon just to get away from all the media hype of Elon Musk's latest Starship launch (and explosion.... sorry, non-nominal vehicle dismantling, or somethin like that!).
Alright baby!! Our lasers (in the NDL) are going to be the primary landing system for getting this box on the moon!!! https://www.intuitivemachines.com/im-1
