international shipping UK to USA

Hi
Can anyone recommend the best method of sending a watch to the USA with insurance up to £1500.

I have checked the royal mail website and got an online quote of £107 !!!

I want a service which is fully tracked door to door.

Why are you sending the watch to the States ?

There are some extremely capable Watchmakers in the UK.

However if you are determined to shunt abroad, I always use RM 'International Tracked & Signed For'

In 300+ transactions across the pond, I have never lost a watch yet.

Where does it need to go? I head back to the states soon so I can take it for you and just pay for the shipping in the U.S. via my PayPal.

He was meaning the service of the item being tracked, not the item being serviced.
