The fact that this is a chronograph movement would naturally mean it's higher priced, so it's not comparing apples to apples. But yes retail is approx. 17% higher than the L1...not that much...

But clearly what matters to people varies, so if this lack of finishing doesn't bother you, then that's all that matters to you.

Well, I don't have a "process" so this really isn't relevant to me, but what a company prices it's product as to me is a reflection of how they value their own work. The secondary market can be very distorted for reasons that are totally unrelated to the quality of finishing, or even the quality of the watch.

I feel like you are taking my surprise at the lack of finishing on this watch as some sort of personal insult. It was just surprise - nothing else. I would have expected a watch that the company charges a lot for, to be more completely finished. You clearly don't agree, and frankly I don't really care - as I've been saying all along it's up to each of us to decide what's important.
