Inherited Seamaster

Hi everyone,

just inherited this lovely Seamaster from my dad, and would love some thoughts on what model it is. I think it is a 166.003 looking at other pictures, but mine has the vertical and horizontal cross-lines on the face which others don’t. It is of gold colour, and there are black details on the minute and hour hand. On the edge of the face, at the bottom, right on the edge is ‘T Swiss T’ text. The watch is fully working, but not original strap (I’d like to get one, and have the crystal polished). Any thought and comments appreciated as I’d love to know more about it. Thank you, Ian

The dial and hour marks look a bit strange to me. Curious whether this is original and, if so, what model!

Always a fan of crosshair dials als my own sm has one 😀

Yes, looks very similar to yours, but with the calendar date. Is that the original strap? Keen to get one for mine but not sure where to get one.

I am almost certain the strap is not original. Pairing a strap to a watch is a fun way to customize it, and switch things up.

That is a beauty. I inherited a pocket watch from the 1800's and cherish it. Enjoy!

I bought the watch with this strap. I assume it indeed is not original to this watch (even though it has Omega stamped on the inside).
