Information sought

Hi, I know little about watches. My father left me this beautiful Omega before he passed so I'm not looking to sell. He had it for many years and his uncle before that. I did have a jeweller look at it and confirmed that the strap is 18ct gold although I don't think it's the original that came with the watch.
I haven't seen this design anywhere online so would love to learn more about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Beautiful omega chronograph. Probably a caliber 320 or 321. You will need to get to a good watch guy and have it opened so you can get lots of photos plus other information. Tell us where you are based and I am sure fellow members will be able to advise. Good luck.

You have a seriously sought after vintage Omega, look after it and enjoy it.

PS: If the number inside the hammer head hallmark is 108

Your 18K gold case was made for Omega by Jaques Beiner/Roger Parel SA of St-Imier who were a registered company from 1934 to 1984.

All you need to know can be found here.

Thank you. I appreciate the information. The Omega serial number indicates it was made in 1947
