Information on 1162 Bracelet

I recently purchased a MKII Speedmaster and need to find a bracelet for it. In my searching I don't see a lot of history on when Omega stopped making the 1162. Does anyone have any in-depth information on what years these were made and what differences (if any) might be indicated on various versions throughout the years.

The reason I ask is I have seen several references to a "new" version but it is still stamped 1162. I am not opposed to a brand new bracelet but I wanted to see if there were any differences.

If there’s a difference between original 1162 bracelets and the newer service versions, I’d expect it to be the clasp. The newer version has the “sunken” Omega symbol, where the Omega symbol is surrounded by a depressed rectangle. I know there are original 1162s that have the older-style clasp where the Omega symbol is raised on a flat field rather than surrounded by a depressed field.

Not only the clasp, also the links are different.
