I'm looking for more information on a neo-vintage Constellation I just acquired, reference 1504.50 (see enclosed photos). The serial # suggests a circa 1999 manufacture date. From the limited desk research I've done, it appears to be a limited edition of 2,000 pieces, but I haven't been able to verify that.
I assume it's connected to the new millennium, but I've also read other listings that suggest it was an LE for the Sydney Olympics. Unfortunately, it doesn't show up in a couple time-period Omega catalogs and price lists that I checked.
Does anyone know more about this reference? I'm excited to own it, and would appreciate any details you can confirm. For example, was it a limited edition? Was it for the new millennium? Was this a global release, or region-specific? Can anyone find reference to original pricing or a listing in a catalog? And what would the original box look like?
I appreciate any and all support, and am happy to answer additional questions.
