Hello everyone in the OF!
I need some info about this Mistery dial LeCoultre, as I'm not an expert of the brand. I knew there is a collaboration between LeCoultre and Vacheron, but how about this one, does it have a big impact on the price?

Thanks in advance.

The LeCoultre Galaxy or Mystery Watch was not a “collaboration” between LeCoultre and Vacheron & Constantin, even though both names appear on the caseback of some examples. Like this:

It is a LeCoultre watch, with a Swiss made LeCoultre movement and a U.S. made case (usually 14K white gold). The movements were imported by Vacheron & Constantin - LeCoultre Watches, Inc. This was a corporate division of Longines-Wittnauer, Inc. This is all about marketing, nothing more.

The Vacheron factory in Switzerland has no connection with this particular model, although many Vacheron watches used LeCoultre ebauches.

In theory, there should be no difference in price between the engraved and plain back. In practice, people do pay a little bit more for that “name”, even though there is no real connection at the manufacturer level.

Hope this helps,
