Thank you for a very detailed comment!
I have read this introduction once before, but i guess i was a bit confused by this line "Simon Freese Watchmakers are able to offer a comprehensive range of repair options, and will always go the extra mile to help." Somwhow it made it sound as if there are many watchmakers working in his workshop, not just Simon and his wife.

That's OK. I like a detailed comment. (I've reduced it down to a link now)๐Ÿ˜Ÿ ....but here's a bit more detail for you:๐Ÿ˜€

Simon's wife is not a watchmaker. She handles the office side of things. I found her very helpful with any requests I made for updates or paperwork.

There are other members on this forum who have greater experience than I have of Simon Freese Watchmakers. They may know more about whether or not he employs or trains other technicians. I have taken my watch to Simon when he was at STS, and also at his own workshop. On both occasions he spent time with me, himself, to explain things and answer my questions. When I phoned, any technical information I requested came directly from him.

If he was doing a delicate adjustment on your watch, would you want him to leave it to answer the phone?๐Ÿ˜€

Phone calls are incredibly disruptive when working, which is why I don't answer the phone while I'm working. Email is always preferred, since I can answer it at a time that doesn't interrupt the work...
