··Home For Wayward WatchesI'm always interested in looking at Zodiac Sea Wolf watches so thanks.

Not to be a wet blanket, but for those new to Zodiac- parts are NLA, there are known maladies and it can be a serious issue when servicing. Be prepared to hunt and possibly fail several times trying to source parts. That said, they are fantastic watches and incredibly unique in a sea of sub-like divers.
I live in a relatively small town but my watch maker is out of this world.
He thinks that these watches are no problem to someone who knows what they're doing...but of course if he dies before me...
Great looking! Have you tried the 9/12 date change? My earlier one changes that way and they still called it “quick set” as it was faster than the slow set.
Yeah. That's the way my watchmaker (the seller) showed me how to do it.
I looked at ranftt too to see if there was any identifying difference between the movements but they didn’t note anything.
I would assume (I haven’t tried it- so an assumption) but if it were a push set, it probably wouldn’t change the date doing it 9/12 and would most likely just click and jump but not change, or roll back the date to the previous day- but I haven’t tried it.[/QUOT
