Incoming Speedy 321

Was driving home today from picking up new toys for my birds when Omega Boutique SA called me. He said he had something special for me. They got a Speedy 321 delivered with my name on it. It’s the 2nd one they got this year. I said I’m On my way! I got there and it was awesome. I sat on the couch and he brought the watch out in its huge box. I just sat there speechless just staring at it. He said try it on and we can size it. Got it sized and couldn’t stop staring at it. My SA said he would try and work on a Snoopy for me as that’s another one of my dream watches. Was great. We sat and shot the bull for awhile about watches and other stuff and I couldn’t stop staring at the watch. He said he was very happy to get it for me and felt he fulfilled one of his goals too. Shout out to Joshua for making this happen. Never thought I would see one for ME without going grey. I LOVE this watch.

lol. Yep, Joshua at the Bellevue OB. Thanks, I’m still in awe about. I pretty much figured I wouldn’t see one.

Service cost should be same as standard 1861 or 3861 movement, the downside is the added time for having it go to Bienne for service.

Thanks. I mentioned it back in November probably. But I really registered my “want” in February.

Absolutely my favourite speedy. Out of interest what would be a service cost be as it can only go back to the mothership as I understand it.

Not sure on cost but my SA told me at the moment, it’s about a 1 year turnaround on service. For me it would be best to go directly to Omega Seattle as it is sent to Bienne from there. Otherwise my Bellevue Boutique sends it to Seattle. Luckily I’ll have about 5-8 years before needing a service *knock on wood*

Thanks. I mentioned it back in November probably. But I really registered my “want” in February.
That is rocket fast: well done! The longest I’ve seen is three and a bit years so far. I’d love to know how the allocation system works.

I got notified by the OB this weekend that mine was coming soon and if I was still interested. I had put my name on the list very early in the game. Will keep you posted.

For now, I've been able to convince myself that the memories I'm making with my standard speedy are sufficient to stay off the list for a 321...not sure how long I can be so persuasive against my own whims & fancies lol
