Thanks for the support! I think I can relax now, I received parcel code and can now track the package he sent from post office in some hillbilly village somewhere. Now just hoping there will be no more hickups and the package finds it way to me safely. It's on it's way!! 🚀

Ah, i wouldn't worry about that. Most watches come excessively packaged and protected. Of course, we appreciate that as buyers, but most watches are quite robust and don't really need that much. If it's in a travel box, it's good enough.

Definitely looks great and it goes with any type of strap you want to use. Each brings a different character out on the dial. Enjoy the new acquisition!

The watch actually has a cool story I got from the seller. The watch was his father's who got is as an award in the mid 70's for selling most Volkswagen Beetle cars in Finland. I got an idea to name the watch "Herbie", you know from the movie Love Bug with the racing theme 😁Anyway, the father appreciated the watch and used is as his "fancy" watch. He also won some other awards for selling e.g. most "bella" boats but I didn't catch if he got any other prices than this. He passed away in the 80's and the watch was forgotten. It was found only after the sellers mother also passed away a while ago and he was cleaning the house and found this in the closet. So it was unused since the 80's! He also found something else that he thought was valuable but he had no idea that this watch could be valuable. SO HE THOUGHT HE'D SELL IT AT A FLEE MARKET! Oh my... 😅 Luckily someone talked him into checking it out from the internet because "it is Omega". So he did and found out what he had. So someone lost a huuuge flee market find, he got actual money from it and I got a special watch I wasn't even actually looking for. He told me he's happy that he sold the watch to a person who can appreciate it like I do and was nice to give me this background story. The man is working at child services (respect) and handled the bit of sales trouble we had with upmost care. So lovely interaction all and all.
