Congratulations on a great purchase, wear it in good health!

Here's mine, the black dialed version with a see-through back. The reference is 142.8.92S
Can't say I like one version over the other, but I finally chose getting this one as it had better hand legibility and visual acces to the awesome movement.
I definitely like these references over the new ones due to the dial arrangement and smaller size, making them a more elegant choice at times.
I foolishly wanted to part ways with it a few months back, but after getting it serviced decided to happily hold on to it 馃榾

Thank you.

The black is really quite beautiful. 馃グ

I'll post a dibs now for that one, but it sounds like your love affair has been re-ignited!

Agree on the case size. It was a big reason why I went with this 'earlier' Geographic. Also, I like power reserves, quite a bit, date, not so-much...馃槜

Non Master 1st generation 馃榾
Great dial!

Thanks for sharing yours...馃榾

Dang!

Perhaps I didn't realize how unique the day-night window is to this particular model... Grats to you, @DirtyDozen12 !

Here it is, with my favorite vintage JLC:

Fabulous and congratulations.

The strap on the memovox caught my eye. Would you please let me know what this is?

Sure.

I wish I could tell you it was the leather from an exotic marine creature found only in Madagascar waters.... but nuh-uh!

It's a $13 speckled blue patent leather, made in USA, by Kelaran 馃榿.
