I haven't bought too many 'modern' watches since my obsession with vintage watches began about 3 years ago, but this one has to be the nicest of the 'youngins' I've acquired yet, and I felt it deserved its own thread. Love the brand, too, and this would be the first modern within the brand I love so much. A few teasers first. I know it's a bit 'old hat', but if only for my sake, here goes: ...almost here!!
Dang! Perhaps I didn't realize how unique the day-night window is to this particular model... Grats to you, @DirtyDozen12 ! Here it is, with my favorite vintage JLC:
I like all renditions of the JLC Geographic. If anyone would like to post theirs here, too, I’d love to see them!
Congratulations on a great purchase, wear it in good health! Here's mine, the black dialed version with a see-through back. The reference is 142.8.92S Can't say I like one version over the other, but I finally chose getting this one as it had better hand legibility and visual acces to the awesome movement. I definitely like these references over the new ones due to the dial arrangement and smaller size, making them a more elegant choice at times. I foolishly wanted to part ways with it a few months back, but after getting it serviced decided to happily hold on to it
