Evening all,

Recently I was gifted several omega watches by a family member. I’ve tracked down most of the information regarding all but one watch. I’ll attach some photos in hopes that somebody can help indentify this piece.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there.

Looks like a reference CK 2300 with an R17.8SC movement.

Here’s mine for comparison:

I’m new to the watch world. Any reason mine wouldn’t have the model stamped on it? Also, the face is really tiny, is there a designated sex for wearer?

Not sure on when/why they started adding case numbers, but your watch is a few years older than mine from the movement serial number.

It’s a mans watch.

Welcome to the wacky world of Omega, sometimes there is simply no answer as to why they did or didn't do some things.

In general vintage watches tend to be much smaller than today's watches, especially pre 1950s.
