Hello all. I just picked up what I think is a very cool little triple date moonphase. I had my watchmaker service it and install a new crystal. I put it on a new strapsco band and am enjoying wearing it.

Info online is scarce. Does anyone have any info on this reference? I’m guessing early 1950s? Dial looks repainted (lack of “swiss…” at 6, other imperfections) but it’s very clean and looks the part, in my opinion. I also love the smiling moon. Pics don’t do it much justice, but lugs still hold a good bevel.

Imperios is a brand of the Nicolet Watch Co. which in the 50s made several models of chronographs and triple date calendars.
The movement is probably a Felsa.

Really nice pick up that is a cool moon phase I would jump on something like that. Still don’t have a moonphase in my collection and that is really nice looking. Don’t want to ask you the price not my business but was it one of those super deals we watch nerds hit on occasion?

I’m not sure if it was a good deal or not (I’m thinking it was not a good deal), since there’s not really any to compare it to. But I fell in love with it (during an auction 😲 ) and ended up very lucky that my local watchmaker knew how to service it.

I do love that I can wear and enjoy it without worry, even if I “overpaid” for it. It’s not a Padellone after all, but shares the same look!

Well screw it I think it’s a great looking watch I was hoping you found it for 5 bucks like those couple crazy gold watch deals I stumbled across but you love it and you will wear it that’s all that matters
