Was able to spend last weekend with my husband and this guy, getting a little gray but sweeter than ever.

Bentley, say hi to everyone at the Omega Forum. 😀

It is only March but this has to be considered a back lash - even for Sweden:

Spirits certainly needs help. Me and my wife spent some time in January and February in Panama and Costa Rica. Photos from there and then helps to lift my spirit.

Every day that Francis returns to our garden lifts my spirits, he is such a gentle bird that even the crows scare him 🙁

Village fair set up this weekend. Kids screaming with excitement, simple old school fun…
Still don’t get candy floss though.

Coming up to 9 years ago and we've jus been here again and nothing's changed.
Our boy still loves his walks, mud, rolling over, rolling over in mud and the countryside.

No - but she cooked it so I am thankful for what I am given/ always a nod to health here, so one day I might be the adoughnut she desires.
At least it was a fried goog (new word for me) and not poached ;0)

I envoy you the deer at rest so comfortably in your yard, but do not envy the snow.

This is at one daughter's house in the country - no deer but lots of kangaroos.

Stunningly beautiful garden - congratulations!

Arthur's Pass National Park, South Island, New Zealand; taken on a "tramp" that I took with a friend several years ago.

The water in the streams that I encountered was absolutely delicious!

The word goog is an Abbreviation of googie egg which is a little outdated these days, it's origin is Scottish Gaelic (gogaidh}

There is also an expression: “as full as a goog” = very drunk….. as eggs have no room inside, they’re full!

I know this as I recently used the expression whilst taking to a Scottish mate who was unfamiliar with “goog” but when. I explained the connection to “googie egg” he then explained addition of egg is redundant in Scotland because the word googie means egg.

A bit different than most, but it does lift my spirits!
