My baby brother being Dad to his daughter and babysitting a few extra kiddos whose parents had an appliance emergency. Not in frame is his strapping napping boy.

So here's a separate shot of the little guy!

This is "Pink Promise", the rose of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

I have several very dear friends who have survived breast cancer so I cherish the blooms each year.

In some respects life can only be just the now / a slice of instant time we perceive - a couple of random images (taken at random) on my soon to stop daily commute. Frozen blocks of time - nothing special yet the world is full of wonder when we have time to study it (and nicer when the sun is out in the UK :0)

Love seeing herons. When I was a kid I recall seeing most species of North American herons on our pond and have seen them all my life at our old family place on the lake.

I took this in March while walking in the gentle hills near my home. Nobody was about for literally miles. A herd of 15 roe deer ran across the skyline from right to left, about half a mile away across a field of young wheat, before disappearing over the hill.
