Well, do I really have to say that these clothes were freshly laundered and it was muddy outside?

When I can't find one of my jackets, sweaters or wool shirts it will be found carried off by my youngest cat Sophia for use as a bed. She also drags off clothes from the hamper and even from the drier if I leave the door open for a minute.
Sometimes if I turn my back for a moment while emptying the dryer when I turn I'll find her sitting there inside. When a kitten she also darted inside the refrigerator unseen to be found sitting calmly on the top shelf next time it was opened.

My wife and I took a trip to Canmore, AB in December 2019. I'll post some photos here at some point - the staggering beauty of that area lifts my spirits. The recent wildlife photos from other members above are reminding me of two shots in particular though - on the way back to the US, we stopped to get a photo of this valley with the sun breaking through the clouds and nearby was this Bighorn Sheep just hanging out. We didn't even notice it at first, it was so still. We didn't want to disturb it so the photo is a bit fuzzy, zooming in quite a bit.

Another Lake District memory - going up towards Lingmoor one fine day in May last year. Can't wait to return

Late November UK ….Last Rose of 2020 from my Garden– Fighting on until the end.
Darwin remained frustrated by flowers until his death and scientists still are unable to explain how Angiosperm species evolved to take over the world so quickly, or why in the colder areas where Gymnosperms like conifers are abundant Angiosperms have not come up with a competitor despite their rapid unexplained overall early and sustained success… So much mystery and importance in the simplest things.

My son is 1800 miles away and has been staying at a friend’s place for the last couple of weeks. He sent me photo of that family’s table as they were organizing Thanksgiving Day dinner.

Short holiday in Budapest this time last year with my daughters and whenever I think back to that happy time my spirits are lifted.
Who says you can't buy memories 😁
