A little different to the earlier offerings here, but this certainly lifted my spirits last Saturday. Not something I was expecting to encounter in a small German town car park full of modern plastic vehicles. I think my reaction was something akin to this:-
Now that the weather has taken a turn for the worst in my neck of the woods and snow is just around the corner, I would always go back to photos of my many trips to my ‘second’ home, Hawaii. We go yearly but unfortunately not this year for obvious reasons. I have posted these two pics before but they never get old and would always bring a smile to my face Kauai Maui
God the photo makes me melancholy, I loved BW photography. Multiple eye issues ended my ability many years ago but I still have the cameras and the darkroom setup for medium and 8x10 formats. Thanks for reminding me of that joy.

One of the most incredible vacations of my life...I often find my self dreaming about breakfast on the terrace at our villa. I close my eyes and this is what I see... I feel very fortunate to be able to dwell on these memories
This is Ronda, Spain - a fascinating and beautiful town with bags of history. I saw it on a trip though Spain, Portugal and Morocco that lingers happily in my memories.
