I’m seriously enjoying this RW for a dress watch!

I’m a bit perplexed by the attitudes towards RW but the sw200 movement in these maestros (RW4280) is quite good and I think the watch looks exceptional!

What are your thoughts? Do you own one?

They do make some pretty watches, and I quite like that one.
If it makes you happy, why not.
No every decision we make needs to be on a rational economic investment basis, if we did that we’d die of boredom or beige poisoning ( you get that from wearing beige cardigans whist driving a Toyota Camary…..the world’s most boring car, even the red ones are beige)
Good mental health requires that you reward yourself every now and then.

It's a great-looking watch, with my favourite complication -- the moonphase.

If you like it, wear it. I always thought that Raymond Weil was a fashion watch, but I just googled it and apparently they are a luxury watch. So there you go.

I picked up a RW quartz at Costco years ago. I was leaving the country on a business trip and my other watch had just died. This was before I got bit by the watch bug. My son has it now, has gotten compliments at work wearing it. So enjoy.

Hi, I’m new to this forum but just wanted to share a couple of my Raymond Weil watches. I’ve always found them very underrated with some beautiful dials

Under rated for sure. If patek did a dial like that, people would applaud it. Also, it’s very fitting for your aesthetic with the wristband, beads, and sweater. Well done!

You know where those beads belong. @SC1 help me out cluing him in!

On Topic...We always liked RW watches and have a quartz one somewhere in our stash. Will try to snap some pics of it later.
