It really is an amazing watch. I still get distracted whenever I wear mine. 🥰

The LLD was my first mechanical watch and the watch that started it all. I love the design. I sold it to finance other watch purchases but I sometimes regret it. It’s a great everyday watch.

I secretly love the 36mm LLD with the mother-of-pearl dial. So clean and pretty.

My wife approved, so I picked it up for her as a Christmas present.

I bought my wife a Longines for Christmas last year. I thought she's appreciate a mechanical watch with a glass caseback. In truth, she said she’d have been just as happy with a £40 watch from Next? Pah, women! Well, I like it. 👍

Haha, good problem to have 😉

Mine decided it was time for a better watch, usually she just gets a $10 watch from Walmart and then a new one when the battery runs out.
But this time, she came up with a list of must-haves and I think the Legend Diver 36mm ticks all the boxes: Automatic, 36mm or less, very legible, minute markers, lume on dial and hands, date window, solid build, water proof. We'll see how it holds up in her day to day...

Oh and the fact that she's into horseback riding, and Longines has a long equestrian history was just an added bonus 😉

The LLD was my first “serious” watch. Man that brings back memories.

I love the design. So simple and elegant in a tool watch. The original 42mm had too long of lugs for me, but I’ve been considering a 36mm that’s coming out.
